Minnesota Grocery Chain Recalls Frozen Fettuccini Products
Supervalu Inc. is voluntarily recalling frozen fettuccini products over concerns about possible listeria contamination.
It’s the second recall in about two weeks for the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based company.
The supermarket chain said the Culinary Circle Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken products were sold in a 38-ounce package.
They were sold at its Acme, Albertsons, Bigg’s, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh, Hornbacher’s, Jewel-Osco, Lucky, Shaw’s and Star Market, Shop ‘n Save and Shoppers Food & Pharmacy stores in all of the states where they operate.
Supervalu says no illnesses have been reported.
The company recalled macaroni-and-cheese products Aug. 14, also over listeria concerns.
Listeria infections can cause fever, muscle aches, nausea and diarrhea.
