Fort Dodge, Iowa, Restaurant a Total Loss After Fire
Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a Fort Dodge, Iowa, restaurant.
A cleaning crew reported the fire. Flames were visible on the roof of Mineral City Mill and Grill when firefighters arrived early on Feb. 28.
Capt. Mitch Sells says firefighters had to leave the building because the roof was collapsing. They fought the fire from outside.
Sells says the building is a total loss.
