Some Tornado Sirens Failed When 8 Tornadoes Hit Southern Michigan
Authorities say some tornado sirens in Jackson County didn’t activate last weekend as storms that produced eight tornadoes in southern Michigan moved across the state.
Sirens were to be tested this week.
Severe weather toppled trees, flooded streets and knocked out power to some area residents.
People reported possible problems with sirens in Leoni, Blackman, Summit and Grass Lake townships to the Jackson Citizen Patriot.
