Damage in Nebraska Panhandle Attributed to Tornado
Damage to an auto dealership and trailer park in eastern Scotts Bluff County, Neb., has been attributed to a tornado.
The National Weather Service office in Cheyenne, Wyo., confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in eastern Scottsbluff. The twister had wind speeds up to 98 mph and cut a path 100 yards wide and 19 miles long.
The weather service says no injuries were reported.
The weather service says the tornado tore off part of the roof at an auto dealership and overturned five house trailers in the Wagon Wheel Trailer Park in Scottsbluff. There was also damage to outbuildings, sheds and trees southeast of the city.
