The Columbus Dispatch reports that the number of tornadoes was the highest recorded in a single day in Ohio in more than four years.
No deaths were reported. At least 13 people were hurt, dozens of homes were destroyed and buildings were wrecked at an Ohio State University facility in northeast Ohio.
In southeast Ohio’s Athens County, officials say a “large amount” of storm cleanup work remains, and they’ve put out a call for volunteers.
