Forensic engineering consulting firm Rimkus Consulting Group recently launched a Product Evaluation Laboratory (PEL) based in the company’s Chicago office.
Rimkus’ PEL, which opened in late 2010, provides a cost-effective solution for claim professionals who manage subrogation claims. Staffed by a team of qualified professional engineers, material scientists, metallurgists, and product liability specialists, Rimkus’ PEL affords claim professionals the opportunity to evaluate a wider range of household appliances, electronics, plumbing fixtures, and water supply lines that contribute to millions of dollars in property damage each year.
Rimkus’ product liability experts have been assisting subrogation and claims professionals minimize risk and improve recoveries for more than two decades.
