Ohio Launches $25M Storm Recovery Loan Program
The state has announced a $25 million emergency loan program to help Ohio rebuild from tornadoes and flooding so far this year.
State Treasurer Josh Mandel says in a statement that the program will offer money at reduced interest rates to help Ohioans get their lives and businesses back on track.
The state has been battered by several rashes of tornadoes and flooding from severe storms since early in 2011.
Mandel’s office says small business owners, farmers and homeowners may apply for loans of up to $400,000.
