Man Drowns in Minnesota Hotel Pool
Hennepin County sheriff’s officials say a man has drowned in a hotel pool in Minneapolis.
The 21-year-old man was swimming with his family Sunday about 6 p.m. and began to struggle in the deep end of the pool at the Ramada Inn. Family members tried to pull him out of the water, but were unable to do so. Hotel employees and bystanders lifted him out of the water.
Minneapolis paramedics attempted to revive him. KSTP-TV says he was pronounced dead at Hennepin County Medical Center.
