N.D. Man Says Defective Equipment Led to Injuries
A Dickinson man is suing the maker of a battery booster for a 2005 explosion he says left him injured.
Jared Shypkoski has filed a federal complaint against Clore Automotive, LLC, located in Lenexa, Kansas. The lawsuit alleges that the so-called Solar Truck Pac battery booster was defective.
Shypkoski claims he was using the booster in a “normal and acceptable fashion” when it exploded near his head, causing severe eye and hearing damages.
Clore Automotive denies that the booster was defective and says Shypkoski was at fault.
