17 Fires Set Over 4 Hours in Minnesota Neighborhood
Minneapolis police say arsonists set 17 small fires in a 13-block area, damaging two garages and three vehicles. No injuries were reported.
The fires were set over a four-hour period beginning Friday at 8:30 p.m.
In addition to torching the garages and vehicles, the suspect or suspects set fire to leaf piles, a trash container and a retaining wall.
More than 20 police squads combed the area. They questioned several people and arrested one man on an unrelated misdemeanor warrant, but no one has been arrested in connection with the fires.
Police ask anyone with information to call them.
