Electrical Problem Blamed for Iowa Blaze
Authorities have blamed an electrical problem for a fire that damaged city offices in the northwest Iowa town of Hull.
A state investigator says the problem occurred in an electrical junction box in the building’s rear maintenance area.
City Administrator Les Van Roekel says the maintenance area was heavily damaged and that the city offices sustained smoke and water damage.
It’s unclear whether the building will be repaired or demolished.
