Indiana Issues Open Letter to Insurers Regarding Outdoor Stage Permit Requirement
Indiana’s governor has issued an open letter to the insurance industry concerning outdoor stages and equipment that may be used during outdoor festivals and fairs.
To assist the State Fire Marshal’s Office in conducting inspections of all such equipment, permits are now required where outdoor stages and equipment will be used.
The agencies want to ensure that all locations where such staging may be used are identified and inspections made.
