Allstate Plans to Close Wisconsin Auto Claims Center
More than 200 people are losing their jobs in Cross Plains, Wis.
Allstate Insurance officials say they plan to close an auto claims center there Dec. 31.
Company spokesman Justin Herndon tells WISC-TV the 214 employees there were told about the decision Wednesday morning.
Some employees might be eligible to get other positions within the company.
Allstate has eight other claims centers. The Cross Plains office is the only one closing.
