Wisconsin Warehouse Fire Damages Estimate Between $1M to $2M
Preliminary damage estimates from this week’s warehouse fire in Madison, Wisc., are $1 million to $2 million.
Windsor Buildings Systems was destroyed by fire Tuesday. Investigators say the fire apparently started in a maintenance room at Windsor, a company that makes wooden trusses and other building components.
Madison Fire Department spokeswoman Lori Wirth tells the State Journal there’s no evidence the fire is suspicious in nature. Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the state Department of Justice are assisting Madison fire investigators.
