Applied Systems, Citizens/Hanover Insurance Partner to Empower Agencies to Perform Real-Time Inquiries via Web Bridge

Applied Systems, Inc. announced that Allmerica Financial’s two regional property and casualty insurers, Citizens Insurance Company of America and The Hanover Insurance Company, are now using Applied’s new Web Bridge technology to offer real-time billing and claim inquiries to agencies using The Agency Manager®. In addition, Web Bridge functionality will soon be available to agencies using The Agency Manager® Vision Series(tm) software.

Web Bridge provides agencies with direct access from their
agency management systems to information from a carrier’s website, without having to perform any additional data entry. Web Bridge is a tool that provides real-time agency-carrier interface, in addition and complementary to IVANS Transformation Station(tm) transactions.

Now Applied agencies will be able to access personal and commercial billing and claim information from Citizens and Hanover’s Web site without exiting their agency management systems.
