Navigators Pro Offers Online Training for Employment Practices
Navigators Pro, a division of Navigators Management Company, now offers its employment practices liability policyholders with access to an online employee training tool for Title VII compliance and other employment practice laws.
The online employee training and risk management web-based tool is designed to assist a corporation in training its employees to apply various state and federal employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Additional features of the web-based tool include a documentation module, policy and procedures repository, and complaint procedure.
On June 22, 2006, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously broadened the grounds on which an employee can allege a violation of Section 704 of Title VII’s anti-retaliation provision. This landmark employment decision is expected to make it easier for employees who allege discrimination or claim whistleblower status to successfully pursue a claim for retaliation.
“Loss control and risk management for employment practices are critical to improving employee morale and productivity, and to avoiding costly litigation,” said Chris Duca, president of Navigators Pro. “Compliance with federal and state employment laws is increasingly challenging for employers in this dynamic legal environment.”
