Swett & Crawford Hires Gibbs, Onstead
Swett & Crawford has added staff in its Atlanta and Dallas offices.
James G. Gibbs III joins the Swett & Crawford Atlanta office as a broker of fidelity and professional products. He has more than 14 years of insurance industry experience. For the past five years, he was a senior broker, Financial Services Group for Aon in Atlanta where he worked on public and private sector accounts and initiated a program for publicly traded financial institutions in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.
From 1998-2000 he served as a senior underwriter, Department of Financial Institutions in support of Marsh & McLennan for Chubb and serviced over $9 million in professional and fidelity insurance premiums. Gibbs began his career with the St. Paul Insurance Companies where he spent 6 years as an account underwriter for Financial and Professional Services (bond, D&O and E&O) in Chicago and Atlanta.
Chad Onstead who most recently served as an underwriter for trucking industry risks at W.E Love & Associates Inc. joins as a broker in the Swett Dallas office. He also has experience with Ramey & King Insurance facilitating market and client relationships as well as new business opportunities.
