Volkswagen Recalls 27,000 Golf, Jetta Diesels

January 29, 2008

Volkswagen AG said it has recalled 27,000 diesel cars over a possible wiring fault.

The worldwide recall applies to Golf Variant and Jetta TDI cars that were built in Mexico this year and last.

Volkswagen spokesman Christian Buhlmann said a power supply line for the heating system may have been wrongly connected.
