Macy’s Fined $750,000 for Failing to Report Drawstrings
The CPSC said Macy’s had sold those items, including children’s sweatshirts, sweaters and jackets, at its namesake chain, Bloomingdale’s and Robinsons-May between 2006 and 2010.
Even though it agreed to pay the fine, Macy’s denied the CPSC’s allegations that it knowingly broke the law.
