Enservio Appoints Chris Schoettle Chief Operating Officer
Enservio, a provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms to the property insurance industry, announced Chris Schoettle has joined the company as president & chief operating officer.
In his leadership, Schoettle will be responsible for sales, service operations, engineering, product management and product marketing.
Schoettle brings more than twenty-five years of leadership and a track record of successfully growing technology companies to the newly created position.
Prior to Enservio, Schoettle served as an executive vice president at Akamai, where he led the cloud-based products and services, the global technology platform, company operations, and multiple acquisitions/integrations. During this period, Akamai grew annual revenue from $160 million to $1 billion and generated $1.2 billion in cash from operations. Previously, Schoettle was president of broadband access at Lucent, running the business unit P&L with $600 million revenue and 700 employees worldwide.
Schoettle also held general management positions at AT&T, Novell, and Unix System Laboratories, including expatriate roles in Europe and Asia Pacific.
