Enservio Expands Marketing and Sales Capabilities with Executive Hires
Enservio, a software and services provider to property insurers, announced the addition of two new members to the Enservio executive team to bolster the company’s marketing and sales efforts.
Christine Washburn joins Enservio from SolidWorks and will lead Enservio’s marketing team as senior vice president of marketing. Gary Blair joins Enservio from Oracle and will lead the enterprise sales team as senior vice president of sales.
Washburn brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to her new role, with a proven track record for growing emerging Software as a Service (SaaS) and technology companies into market-leading global enterprises. She will lead Enservio’s marketing and demand generation strategy to expand awareness of the company’s products within the property insurance industry, among claims adjusters and among policy holders.
Prior to Enservio, Washburn served as VP of Marketing for DS SolidWorks, a $500M CAD software category leader, helping to grow the SolidWorks community to approximately two million users. Washburn has also led strategic marketing efforts as VP of marketing for industry-leading software and technology companies such as Silverback Technologies (now Dell) and Concord Communications (Computer Associates).
Blair brings a unique combination of both sales management and 18 years of property insurance executive experience. Blair will lead the enterprise sales team to take the company’s market leadership to the next level in the $15 billion market for contents claims solutions serving the property insurance industry.
Prior to joining Enservio, Blair was the national sales executive for Oracle Consulting where he led high-growth national sales teams in selling to complex business-to-business environments and delivering the return on investment value that enterprise customers demand. Blair’s broad and diverse career also spans 18 years in the property casualty industry. He served as the vice president of operations and agency support for Allmerica Financial (Hanover and Citizens) where he led re-engineering, operational efficiency and information system initiatives. At Farm Bureau Insurance Group of Michigan, Blair served as vice president of claims and vice president of corporate business development. He also provided consulting services to major property insurance carriers in the areas of product development, pricing, marketing, underwriting, claims, data processing and insurance fraud.
“Enservio has been on a rapid growth track for several years running, which is one of the main reasons we’re investing in our sales and marketing brain trust with these two phenomenally accomplished professionals,” said Jon McNeill, CEO of Enservio. “Christine Washburn has led marketing at several top enterprise software and SaaS companies which became global leaders in their markets, and we’re thrilled to have her join our team. As head of our sales team, Gary Blair will bring his winning combination of enterprise sales and insurance industry experience to take Enservio’s market leadership in solutions for property insurers to the next level. This is great news for our customers and for Enservio as we look ahead to what promises to be another great year in 2013.”
