Arthur T. Jansen, Jr. Elected President of NAPIA
Arthur T. Jansen, SPPA, CEO of Jansen International, LLC in Houston, Texas, was elected president of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) during the organization’s June 19-22, 2013 annual meeting held in San Antonio, Texas.
Along with several other members of the NAPIA leadership, Jansen has been a driving force in advocating against the unauthorized practice of public adjusting and has participated in dozens of meetings with regulators and legislators across the country to further this cause.
“Since joining the board, Art Jansen has been very active on NAPIA’s legal and legislative front as a fundraiser for many causes, including a focus on preventing the unauthorized practice of public adjusting,” said NAPIA Executive Director David Barrack. “He has volunteered a great deal of his personal time and resources toward the association’s legislative efforts in this area and I look forward to his involvement on this important project over the next year.
Prior to his induction as president of NAPIA, Jansen served as vice president, treasurer and secretary of the association. He is also a past president of the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters as well as one of only two public adjusters to sit on the Texas Department of Insurance’s newly created Adjuster Advisory Board.
