OnSource Releases Phone App for Faster Field Inspection Reports
After rolling out their customer self-inspection app “Express Inspection” for insurance claims, OnSource continues to expedite the inspection process by releasing a version of the smartphone/tablet app for use by their field inspectors to easily perform photo and video inspections of vehicles, residential and commercial real estate, scenes/locations, equipment, personal property and more.
The app guides OnSource inspectors through a step-by-step collection process to capture detailed photos and video, gather measurements and provide written descriptions. Field inspectors can also use the app to view their assignments, retrieve job details and submit reports directly from the inspection site.
“Our inspectors can collect visual info and electronically submit reports while still on location,” says OnSource co-founder Tim Schneider. “Because insurance companies are able to receive the information more quickly, settlements are distributed faster and customer satisfaction rates increase significantly.”
OnSource understands that time is money. Visual inspections through the company are typically assigned, dispatched, collected and submitted all within 36 hours.
“Having this technology at our fingertips has been a game changer for us,” notes OnSource co-founder Steve Rubin. “Our inspector app has defined a process for us that is fast, accurate and highly efficient and has reaffirmed our impact in this market.”
OnSource inspectors can download the app via their smartphone (iPhone and Android) and/or tablet from the Google Play and iTunes online stores.
