Shelter Insurance Announces New Subsidiary
Shelter Insurance Companies announced the organization of a new insurance subsidiary called American Shield Insurance.
The company is being formed to assist diversification efforts and expansion into new operating territories. The company will sell a variety of insurance products through independent agents in areas currently not served by the Shelter Insurance Companies.
This is an excellent opportunity for us to grow,” said CEO and President Rick Means. “Every company today needs to spread their risk and seek out new markets and we see an area where our insurance experience and financial strength will serve us well.”
“American Shield Insurance will offer a variety of insurance products starting in 2015.
