Liberty Mutual Appoints Morelli Engineering Practice Leader for Property
To better meet the property risk engineering needs of commercial insurance policyholders, Boston-based Liberty Mutual has appointed Robert Morelli, National Accounts Engineering Practice Leader.
In this role, Morelli is responsible for the development and delivery of engineering products and services that help Liberty Mutual’s commercial policyholders better identify and mitigate critical property risks and exposures that threaten business operations.
Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Morelli was global engineering technical officer at AIG, where he was responsible for the engineering services provided to AIG’s commercial property book. He also served as engineering practice leader at XL Insurance. He has more than 20 years of property risk engineering experience.
Liberty Mutual’s National Insurance Property operation is a large-capacity, global property underwriter offering a range of customized property, monoline equipment breakdown and inland marine coverages, supported by dedicated underwriters, claims specialist and risk engineers.
