NICB Reports Slight Drop in Watercraft Thefts in 2015
As boating season nears, the National Insurance Crime Bureau’s annual study of watercraft theft reports that watercraft theft declined three percent in 2015. A total of 5,051 watercraft were reported stolen between January 1 and December 31, 2015. The report is based on theft data contained in the National Crime Information Center database for all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
