Brentwood Services Administrators, headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., promoted Lisa Whitten to claims supervisor, according to Jeff Pettus, president and chief executive officer.
Whitten is responsible for providing guidance and supervision for claims adjusters and support personnel. She assists in maintaining client satisfaction and resolving issues while reporting to Mark Sparks, senior vice president, claims.
Whitten joined BSA in May 2012 as a senior claim representative. She has more than 30 years of multi-state experience in the workers’ compensation claims industry, as well as 25 years of management experience. Prior to her employment with BSA, she was a first response coordinator for Future Care, New York, New York.
Whitten holds an Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, recently announced the appointment of Kevin Yoo as the company’s new claims executive.
In his new role, Yoo will lead the claims organization, including four claims operations centers across the country, strategic planning, and all administrative responsibilities for the department.
With over 25 years of professional claims experience, Yoo most recently served at Chubb as the head of claims for the Asia Pacific Region, where he was responsible for claims management and service delivery in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Korea. He was also responsible for developing and implementing claims strategies and service programs, and was the lead claims liaison for underwriting, finance and legal functions.
Prior to joining Chubb in 2015, Yoo was chief claims officer at Solera Holdings, and has also held various claims leadership positions at insurance companies including Allstate, Affirmative and Progressive.
Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA), an international loss adjusting business focused on commercial losses and claims has appointed Vince Cole as US CEO and regional head, joining the senior management team.
Based in Boston, he will be responsible for driving new business growth and leading operations across the US business.
Cole brings over 25 years of experience in a wide range of executive level roles including strategy, marketing, product development and operations with a solid track record of driving market share, revenue and profit growth. His prior positions include several executive positions with General Electric Company and GE Insurance, and most recently CEO, Crawford & Company – Americas.
His appointment will enable dedicated focus on the US with the intent to invest in people, new businesses, technologies and capabilities aimed at reaching a broader client base and meeting the needs of a rapidly changing US market.
