Hartford InsurTech Hub, powered by Startupbootcamp, announced a new partnership withCrawford & Company,a global independent provider of claims management solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities. The partnership was formed through Crawford Innovative Ventures, LLC, an entity created by Crawford & Company in 2016 to invest in strategic acquisitions and partnerships. By joining Hartford InsurTech Hub, Crawford & Company hopes to bring more innovation to the industry; find new ways to service clients more efficiently; and create more value for claimants through innovative solutions.
Efficient claims management is vital to the success of both large and small companies working within the insurance industry. Driving efficiencies in the claims process, mitigating leakage, and maximizing quality of policyholder experience are critical to the claims function. Crawford & Company will add extensive claims expertise to assist startups in the acceleration process.
The announcement comes as the InsurTech program recently welcomed the first group of startups in Hartford, with 10 teams from five countries: Australia, Canada, India, Singapore, and the United States. The 2018 cohort provides a range of insurance solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, and Natural Language Processing combined with Cyber Security, Smart Home, and Health Insurance.

U.S. Tungsten Corp. announced that it has received approval from FINRA for a name change from U.S. Tungsten Corp. to Aziel Corporation.
The name change will be effective at opening on January 23, 2018. FINRA has also approved a one for 1,000 reverse split. The reverse split will also take effect January 22, 2018 at opening.

His specialties include Contracts, Trademarks and Patents.
Aziel Corporation will engage as an investment/holding company and pursue acquisitions within the insurance claims service industry. Specialist insurer Beazley announced further enhancements to its Beazley Breach Response (BBR) coverage for small and mid-sized policyholders in the US. In conjunction with Lodestone Security, a specialist advisory firm and wholly owned subsidiary, BBR policyholders can now benefit from up to 100 hours post-breach consultation and remediation services.
This expanded service, available by endorsement, is designed to ensure that policyholders who have suffered unauthorized access or use of their systems are able to resume operations at optimal levels of security to prevent a breach re-occurring.
The service includes an assessment of external and internal vulnerabilities, recommendations for improvement across networks, application servers and databases, and for putting in place the right people and processes. It also includes consultation services to help improve or implement incident response plans and other critical policies and procedures.
