Claims People: Venbrook, McGlinchey and Anderson Kill
Venbrook Group LLC, a national insurance brokerage and claims management services provider, has appointed Louis Pippin as chief claims officer.
Pippin will lead the company’s third-party administration and independent claims adjusting business for the Los Angeles-based company.
Pippin was previously a senior vice president with Venbrook’s OneSource Claims Management business in Oklahoma City, according to his LinkedIn page. Before then, he was an executive general adjuster and vice president of third-party administration for McLarens.
Pippin was also a fraud investigator for State Insurance Fund in California and vice president for Midlands Claims Administrators, according to LinkedIn.
Venbrook also announced four promotions in its leadership team:
- Sarah Novakovich was appointed chief operating officer for Venbrook Claims Services
- Angelique King was appointed executive vice president of Carl Warren & Co.
- Marc Pittinaro was appointed executive vice president at Venbrook Claims Services
- Suzie Spencer was appointed vice president, business development for Carl Warren & Co.
The McGlinchey Stafford law firm, with offices in Irvine and San Francisco, California, has appointed three new litigation attorneys: Leslie Fales, Summer Smith and Zeeshan “Zee” Iqbal.
Fales and Smith will join the enterprise litigation and investigations practice group as of counsel in San Francisco. Iqbal jointed the financial services litigation group as an associate in Irvine.
Fales has more than a decade of experience representing clients in litigation. She resolves complex, high-exposure lawsuits involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries arising from trucking accidents, motor vehicle collisions, product defects, construction site accidents and premises liability issues, McGlinchey said in a press release.
Smith has 20 years litigation experience, the law firm said. She has particular focus on homeowners associatoin and also advvices in breach of contract and property damage disputes, real property, construction defects and common interest development cases.
Iqbal represents financial services companies in complex litigation matters.
Anderson Kill, a national insurance recovery practice, has hired Cameron R. Argetsinger as a shareholder in its Washington D.C. office.
Argetsinger’s practice is focused on insurance recovery and dispute resolution. He has experience with insurance coverage disputes, including claims involving coverage for cyber liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, employment practices liability, environmental contamination, antitrust litigation, flood and hurricane damage, intellectual property liability, false advertising, lead-based paint, asbestos, the False Claims Act and overseas tort liabilities.
Argetsinger obtained his Juris Doctor from the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School and a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Virginia bars, and admitted to practice in a range of federal district and appeals courts.
