Dick’s Sporting Goods Discloses Unauthorized Third-Party Access to Information
Cyber attacks have become increasingly common with corporate companies having to engage law enforcement to report third-parties gaining access and sensitive information through data breaches.
The sporting goods retailer added it immediately engaged with its external cybersecurity experts to investigate and contain the threat.
The company said it has also notified federal law enforcement but has no knowledge if this incident has disrupted business operations.
