Simplifai Names Hamill and Lien to Board

December 10, 2025

Simplifai named Nils Thomas Lien and Noel Hamill to its board of directors.

The company says the additions are intended to help guide Simplifai’s progression from an insurtech to an agentic artificial intelligence provider.

Lien is an investor and board director with experience in business transformation, building growth, capital raising, scaling and restructuring. He is currently with Brødrene Jensen AS, where he oversees strategic investments and business development across technology, real estate and industrial sectors. At Simplifai, he will support financial governance and growth strategy.

Hamill will guide the company’s growth agenda, shape global positioning and support the expansion of Simplifai’s Agentic AI in the insurance claims market.

Hamill has more than 20 years of experience in SaaS, branding, AI and go-to-market planning. Most recently he joined Expereo. Before that, he served as global chief marketing officer at parcelLab. His career includes senior branding and commercial roles at PG Forsta, Ladbrokes Coral, EE and Vodafone Hutchison.

Recently, Simplifai appointed Ronald Kasteel as the board chairman. Artem Gonchakov, former board chairman, stepped down as CEO to focus his attention on the execution of operations and customer satisfaction.

Simplifai is a provider of agentic AI for property/casualty insurance claims headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
