Higginbotham’s Yarborough to Head AMS Southern Users Group
Marsha Yarbrough of Fort Worth-based Higginbotham & Associates, one of the nation’s 100 largest insurance and financial services brokers, was named president of the Southern Sagitta Users Group, a local chapter of AMS Users Group consisting of independent agency representatives based in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
AMS Users Group is a network of more than 10,000 insurance professionals throughout the country who use Sagitta and similar software programs to automate their agencies.
Yarbrough, who has been with Higginbotham since May 1998, served first by marketing large accounts until her transition to automation training and coordination in 2001. She has worked with AMS programs and performed contracted Sagitta training since 1995. As president, Yarbrough will facilitate communication between the chapter’s Sagitta users and AMS to affect positive changes within the software as well as promote information sharing and continued education.
