Encore Bank Hires Moraw to Run Insurance Unit
Houston-based Encore Bank named William Reed Moraw to manage its insurance agency operations.
Encore said Moraw will become agency president upon completion of the bank’s acquisition of Town & Country Insurance Agency Inc.
“We are fortunate to have an individual of Reed’s caliber and industry experience to lead Encore Bank’s insurance efforts in targeted markets,” Encore Bank chairman and chief executive officer James S. D’Agostino, Jr. said in making the announcement. “With his energy and considerable industry experience, Reed is the right person to manage the growth of Town & Country’s personal and commercial lines while maintaining a focus on highly responsive and personalized customer service.”
Reed Moraw has more than a dozen years of insurance agency experience, most recently as senior vice president – Syndication/Business Development with Aon Risk Services Inc., Houston. Prior to this, he was a vice president for business development with Arthur J. Gallagher & Company Inc. and an underwriter with Wassau Insurance Company.
