State Officials to Welcome GEICO at Opening of New La. Claims Office
State and local Louisiana officials will be on hand to welcome GEICO when it opens its new claims service office on Tuesday, April 13, 10 a.m. Ceremonies take place at the GEICO office site: 3616 S. I-10 Service Road, Suite 101, Metairie
Among those taking part in the opening ceremonies are:
* Louisiana Chief Deputy Insurance Commissioner James Donelon
* Louisiana Deputy Insurance Commissioner Ron Henderson
* Phil Capitano, mayor of Kenner
Heading GEICO events that morning will be GEICO’s Dave Pushman, regional vice president; Jack Harshbarger, assistant vice president; and Randy Thompson, Louisiana claims manager.
A reception will follow the 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with tours of the new GEICO facilities. A special appearance by the GEICO Gecko is expected.
