Free OSHA Training in Residential Construction Safety Slated for June 22 in Arkansas
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) of the U.S. Department of Labor, the Arkansas Home Builders Association and the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board are teaming up to provide a training workshop in Jonesboro on Tuesday, June 22, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Huntington Building, 900 W. Monroe. The training is part of a special emphasis program to reduce work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses in the residential construction industry.
The workshop will include training on scaffold, ladder and electrical safety as well as fall protection construction concepts for the residential contractor and information on OSHA’s multi-employer citation policy.
