Oklahoma’s North American Group Acquires CIS
North American Group announced it has acquired Oklahoma City-based Commercial Insurance Services and Claims Indemnity Services (CIS) effective Nov. 1, 2004.
Headquartered in Oklahoma City, North American Group also has existing offices in Norman, Lawton, Tulsa, Houston and St. Louis. The company said the acquisition of CIS strengthens North American Group’s position as one of the country’s leading insurance brokers and risk management providers.
North American Group places business with more than 100 insurance companies annually and is Oklahoma’s exclusive Assurex Global Partner.
North American Group vice president of Mergers and Acquisitions John Hester stated, “CIS brings with them an excellent reputation and proven expertise in the areas of Transportation and Claims Administration. North American Group is committed to significant growth, but only with the best of partners like Commercial Insurance Services.”
