Harmon to Demonstrate Future of Claims Handling at PLRB in San Antonio
At the upcoming Property Loss Research Bureau’s (PLRB’s) 2005 Crossroads Claims Conference, which will be held on April 17-20, at the Marriott Rivercenter & Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, IMACC President Pat Harmon, will give two presentations that will give conference attendees an insight as to the future of claims handling.
“The future is now,” said Harmon. “The key to promoting consistently positive claims results starts with the adjuster/contractor interaction. The comprehensive documentation provided by IMACC’s claimCAM CVAT (Claims Virtual Adjusting Technology) is designed to promote adjuster efficiency and productivity while assuring top quality mitigation and/or restoration. Additionally, potential problem identification and resolution is accelerated with measurable cost and time savings.”
Harmon’s presentation, which will be given in Mission 103A on Monday, April 18, (10:30 a.m.) and Wednesday, April 20, (1:30 p.m.) will deal with the topic of virtual adjusting.
“Instead of waiting for important loss documentation to filter into the claims department a few days after a claim assignment, CVAT takes adjusters to the loss scene in seconds,” said Harmon.
Harmon’s demonstration will include live streaming video of actual claims handled by IMACC contractors via IMACC’s Web site.
