Okla. Insurance Department Unveils New Tulsa Office
Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland announced the opening of a new Tulsa office. The new office, located at 4157 S. Harvard, Suite 121, replaces the Oklahoma Insurance Department’s previous office in Tulsa.
The Oklahoma Insurance Department has had an office in Tulsa for a number of years. However, the new location will be more accessible to consumers and will accommodate the additional anti-fraud, continuing education, and outreach staff that have been added to the Tulsa office.
“It is imperative that we have an accessible presence in Tulsa,” said Commissioner Holland. “The Department issues more than 80,000 licenses every year – from insurance agents to bail bondsmen. Tulsa, and all of Northeast Oklahoma, represents a significant portion of these licensees, but just as importantly this area represents a vast portion of our Oklahoma consumers.”
“We need to make sure we are providing the most user friendly and responsive service possible. This new office will greatly assist us in our ability to serve the public and the insurance industry,” Holland added.
