LWCC Launches New Web Site
Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation (LWCC) announced it has launched a new corporate Web site, www.lwcc.com.
The site features dedicated sections for employers, insurance agents and injured workers to obtain important information to manage their workers’ compensation needs. The employers’ section provides articles about workplace safety, legal issues, claims management and cost-saving strategies. The agents’ section offers information about LWCC’s online quoting and other e-business programs, and injured workers can learn about workers’ comp benefits and the claims process as well as health and safety topics.
Some of the key features of the Web site include:

–Free resources such as safety posters and workplace program materials
–“Find an Agent” lookup
–Downloadable forms for injured workers, employers and agents
–Hurricane preparedness section
–Summer hires safety section
–Login to LWCC Interactive, LWCC’s password-protected customer site
–Newsroom with archived news releases and advertising campaigns
–Careers section with current job listings
The site, designed by Redstick Internet Services of Baton Rouge, has a new look and more customer-focused, user-friendly navigation.
“We’re very excited about the new Web site and believe it will help Louisiana businesses get the information they need to better manage their workers’ comp programs, ” said Barrie Parker, LWCC’s chief information officer.
