Louisiana Couple Accused of Fraud in House Fire
Claiborne (Louisiana) Parish Sheriff Ken Bailey says a man and his wife are accused of burning down their house to collect insurance money.
Bailey says 36-year-old Stacey L. Hollenshead and 55-year-old William H. Hollenshead each were booked with one count of insurance fraud. Stacey Hollenshead also is charged with arson with intent to defraud.
The fire in Haynesville was reported November 16. Evidence found at the scene led the fire marshal’s office to declare it as arson.
Stacey Hollenshead is being held in Claiborne Detention Center on a $25,000 bond. William Hollenshead’s bond is $15,000.
