Man Dies of Injuries From Texas Refinery Blast, Fire
One man has died of injuries from a Tyler, Texas, oil refinery explosion and fire.
Forty-nine-year-old James Dale Sharman died on Nov. 21, his mother, Christine Sharman, told The Associated Press.
A spokeswoman for Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas says another worker remains in critical condition at Parkland.
Delek Refining President Fred Green says no cause for the explosion and fire has been determined, but the Nashville, Tenn.-based company continues its investigation. Meanwhile, production at the 60,000-barrel-per-day refinery in East Texas has stopped.
