Oklahoma Man Distracted by iPod Killed in Crash
An Oklahoma man apparently distracted by his iPod died after crashing his pickup into an oncoming vehicle in Caddo County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Robert Yackeyonny died Friday after the head-on collision on U.S. 62 south of Anadarko.
The patrol says Yackeyonny was westbound about 8:21 a.m. when he got distracted by his iPod, crossed the centerline and slammed into an oncoming pickup driven by 35-year-old Clint Courtney of Fort Cobb.
Yackeyonny died at the scene, and Courtney was treated for an arm injury at a local hospital and released.
The patrol says both men were wearing their seat belts.
