Small Plane Crashes in Northeast Arkansas
A small plane has crashed near the northeastern Arkansas town of Bono but the lone person on board apparently is uninjured.
A dispatcher for Bono police says the crop duster went down Monday morning near a local airstrip and that the pilot exited without injuries, but didn’t know further details.
Police Chief Lance Suttles didn’t immediately return a message left on his cell phone. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford didn’t immediately know details of the crash.
Bono is located in Craighead County, northwest of Jonesboro.
