Search for Man in North Texas After Motor Boat Hits Kayaks
A nighttime collision involving a motor boat and three kayaks on a North Texas lake has left one person missing and another hurt.
Rescue crews Tuesday resumed the search for the kayaker missing on Eagle Mountain Lake. Azle Fire Department Capt. Travis Reed says the accident happened Monday night in a poorly lit part of the lake.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Capt. Neal Bieler says a man in another kayak suffered a leg injury. He’s being treated for a broken leg.
The driver of the boat stopped to help after the Fourth of July evening accident.
