Louisiana Man Suspected of Contractor Fraud
A Slidell contractor is suspected of taking money to perform concrete work for the Killona Fire Department and then disappearing without finishing the job.
The Times-Picayune reports that 64-year-old Phillip Livesay is wanted in St. Charles Parish for contractor fraud. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office says Livesay accepted a check for more than $6,000 but did very little work for the fire department before he disappeared.
Authorities say Livesay is wanted for similar crimes in Dorchester County, S.C., and Escambia County, Fla.
