2 Small Earthquakes Reported in Central Oklahoma
Two small earthquakes have been reported in central Oklahoma.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 2.8-magnitude quake about 7:20 p.m. Monday. It was centered about two miles east of Sparks in Lincoln County.
Another temblor with a magnitude of 2.8 was reported about 8:40 p.m. Sunday. Its epicenter was about two miles west of Luther in Oklahoma County.
There were no reports of damage with either earthquake.
Geologists say earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
