Two Small Earthquakes Hit Near Oklahoma City
The Oklahoma City area has been shaken by two small earthquakes.
The Oklahoman reports that the larger earthquake struck at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday six miles southeast of the city. The U.S. Geological Survey says it heard from more than 20 people who felt the magnitude-2.5 quake.
At 3 a.m. Sunday, about 10 people reported a magnitude-2.2 quake about 13 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
No injuries or damage were reported.
An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 is generally the smallest felt by people.
