Thieves Take Road Signs From Rural Louisiana Parish
Sheriff J. Austin Daniel tells The Advocate interim Parish Manager John Hashagen reported Tuesday that 60 signs displaying names of roads and streets are missing throughout the parish.
The green and white signs are made of a plastic laminate and are mounted on steel poles.
Daniel said some of the road names are well known, but others aren’t as well known, and that could delay fire and emergency medical responses.
