Small Earthquake Recorded in Central Oklahoma
The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a small earthquake in central Oklahoma.
No injuries or damage are reported.
The 2.7 magnitude quake occurred at 8:50 p.m. Sunday and was centered between about three miles northeast of Choctaw – about 16 miles east of Oklahoma City.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are general the smallest that are felt by humans.
