Fire Contained at Vacant Bookstore in Arkansas Mall
Firefighters in northwest Arkansas have contained a blaze that broke out at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade shopping mall in Rogers.
Fayetteville television station KHOG reports that the fire broke out overnight in the vacant Borders Bookstore in the mall. Fire officials say the blaze damaged the building’s roof, but no one was hurt.
Officials suspect the fire was caused by electrical problems, but investigators plan to examine the building Wednesday to determine the cause.
